The Move function is used to quickly and easily move multiple plants or packages. When it is used for plant management, the growth phase can also be changed. Only the barcode scanner may be used while using this function. Since RFID is indiscriminate and could easily add tags that are not meant to be added, RFID scanning is not available.

A note for Plant Management mode
In Plant Management mode, both the room and phase must be set. However, this value can be set to the current value...
Example:
If plants are moving from Flower A to Flower B and staying in the Flowering growth phase, then Flower B would be set as the room and Flowering would be set as the phase. The same applies for rooms: if plants are changing growth phase but not rooms, then set the room value to current room and only change the growth phase.
Adding items
Pulling the trigger will turn on the barcode scanner. When a tag is scanned, an audible BEEP can be heard and the barcode scanner will turn off. Release the trigger and squeeze again to scan the next item. |
The system will not allow items to be entered until all fields are set. If attempted, an error message will display. |
Removing a tag
If an item is accidentally scanned or needs to be removed for any reason, the X icon to the far right will do so. A popup will ask for confirmation prior to removal, so that an item isn't accidentally removed.
Internet Usage
An internet connection is only needed to upload the report when finished. This means that the Move feature can be used in areas of a facility with no internet connection. After a batch is complete, the unit can be brought to another area with WiFi where the report can be uploaded.
