The Adjust function is used to quickly adjust the quantity of a Metrc package. Use the barcode scanner of the Desperado handheld to scan a package tag's ID and then enter in either the amount to adjust (add or subtract), or the new total amount.
Setup
The system requires two initial values that will applied to the entire report. "Reason" will be a set from a state approved list; and "Note" is a free text field. | Once set, the values will appear at the the top of the screen. These values cannot be changed until the report uploaded or reset. |
Scanning Packages
As soon as the barcode of a package tag is scanned, data about that package will be downloaded. A popup will then appear showing the current quantity of the package and ask for the adjustment amount. | There are three adjustment options: "Set To", "Add", and "Remove". When removing quantity, the system will alert if the quantity entered is more than what is available. | Once the adjustment amount has been entered, both the "Old" and "New" quantities will be shown. |
Removing a tag
If a tag/plant is accidentally scanned, or needs to be removed for any reason, the X icon to the far right will do so. A popup will ask for confirmation first, though, so a plant isn't accidentally removed.
Editing quantity
The entered adjustment amount can be changed after the initial scan by tapping the Edit icon to the immediate right of the Package ID.
Adjusting to 0
If a package is adjusted to 0 it will automatically be "Finished" once the report is uploaded to Metrc.
Internet Usage
An internet connection is required for this module to function correctly. The current package quantity must be downloaded from the server every time the package tag is scanned.
